Personal Art Piece
Entitled “Facade,” this piece includes doodles that I drew and then
vectorized through Illustrator. In an attempt to create a “trippy,” facade
like scenery, I combined a beautiful background scene with a blurred
texture overlapping one another.
Personal Project
For this personal project I wanted to make a collage-style art piece involving
different layers of magazine cutouts. There are four different layers of
textures seen in the piece, each with a different color and shade. Using
Photoshop, I assigned each different texture to the corresponding shade of grey
in a high quality black and white image.
Personal Project
In an attempt to capture ideas in my mind, sometimes I just randomly get started on a project
in which I have no intention on where it will end up. For this design, in a slideshow fashion, I
am basically telling viewers that ‘pretending’ is the only way to live in a utpoia (an ideal world/
lifestyle.)
Personal Project
After the recent passing of Queen Elizabeth, I took some time to learn more about the history of
the Royal Family. I was saddened by some of the history and when I learned about their grasp
on Jamaica and how it still effects their people today, I wanted to make a piece displaying my
feelings regarding the idea of a monarchy and how it still affects ways of life in other countries.

Ad Design Entry
In this ad design entry I entered this piece of work in a competition to have the ad be used
for Preakness 147. My design was not selected but I was very happy with how it turned out.
I wanted a unique, yet clear design for what was trying to be displayed. Simply, what is being
advertised, when it is taking place, and a distinctive way of setting my design apart from others.
Logo Exercise
As silly as it sounds, I used a word generator to provide me with two
random words and challenged myself to make a logo for a ficticious company
using them. My idea sparked when I saw these two words to make a logo for
a bank that stays open all night (for some reason.) The type I used felt fitting
for a bank that is doing things differently than the typical bank. I wanted a less
‘corporate’ feel while also keeping it clean enough to actually work for a bank.
Client Logo
This client was a videographer and was asking for a logo
for his website, socials, and personal business. The business
is entitled ‘2Cheng Media’ and the client was looking for a
unique combination of the number ‘2’ and ‘C’ for their logo.
Client Logo
This client is a well-known photographer who now does photography
on the side, instead of professionally. They were looking for a new logo
that used free flowing lines and having a more “organic” feel than their
prior logo, which they felt had more of a corporate feel to it. With my
knowledge that the client shot a lot of street photography, I went with a
‘graffiti’ look and feel and the client fell in love with it.
Logo Exercise
Looking for more practice I wanted to make a logo for a ficticious company
that does tours of cities and shows people the tallest and most extraordinary
buildings throughout them. I wanted a modern feel while also displaying
buildings in the logo icon.
Personal Project
I have always loved little characters that are depicted doing different activities or wearing different
outfits, yet all revolving around the same basic character design. A good example of this is Verdy’s
character “Vick.” I got this idea of making varying ‘bad eggs’ with each egg having a different personality
and look to them, yet all of them simply being...an egg.
